Engage Glendale is an interactive and user-friendly online platform built to facilitate accessible and meaningful public engagement with City and Community Development Department projects, policies, and discussions. On Engage Glendale, you’ll be able to shape Glendale’s future by providing feedback on projects using engaging input gathering tools.

In its launch phase, Engage Glendale will largely feature projects led by the Community Development Department, beginning with the Verdugo Wash Master Plan, the North Glendale and East-West Glendale Historic Contexts and Surveys, and the General Plan Updates.

In future phases, Engage Glendale will feature projects from more City departments and across a variety of policy areas, becoming a central engagement hub for the community to learn about and provide their feedback on City projects.

No. Most engagement opportunities do not require creating an account, though most will provide the option to share personal information so the City can better understand who you are. While it's not a requirement, creating an account and using your true identity on the platform helps allows users to know who is participating in the conversation and helps to build community trust.

No. Public meetings are still an important part of the work of city government and civic participation. Engage Glendale represents a renewed commitment to maintaining an ongoing dialogue with the Glendale community to capture its vision for the future – the central feature of the Community Development Department’s mission.

City of Glendale staff receive all input shared on Engage Glendale. Each project page displays the City staff member who is listening to your feedback. The City uses your feedback to inform the direction a project will take.
